Ute Trail Greenhouse is a family operated greenhouse that has been in business for the past 14 years.  Until recently, plants were sold mainly at Farmer's Markets and by appointment.  In 2003, our greenhouse opened daily to the public from spring through fall.  Each year we offer a new variety of plants with a mix of  the latest introductions, natives, heirlooms, unusual plants, as well as the tried and true.  We are always on the lookout for a plant that we haven't tried before.  Also, each spring we offer a large variety of heirloom tomato plants and colorful hanging baskets.  The majority of our plants are grown from seed, cuttings or plugs at our greenhouses near Lyons.  This makes the plants more suited to our Colorado climate than plants shipped in fully grown from more temperate climates.  We have continued to grow and now fill 5 greenhouses with all our plants and have doubled our outdoor tree and shrub areas.  It is important to us that when you purchase a plant from us that you can be confident that it will succeed in your garden AND at the same time, experience a pleasant, enjoyable and informative shopping environment.  It is much more than a business to us, it is about creating a relationship with you based on a shared passion for plants and gardens.
